But it’s more than just great ingredients Sibylla ’Shop in shop’ is a total ’Hot food to go’ solution giving retailers everything they need to take advantage of the fastest growing and biggest opportunity within the Convenience sector to drive footfall and grow profits. IGD forecasted Food to Go to be worth £2.5bn1 within Convenience, forecourt & other retailers by the end of 2016 and expected to grow to £3.3bn by 2021, largely driven by hot food & drinks to go, which was voted as the biggest opportunity for convenience retailers at the ACS Summit in 2016.

Tyler adds ”Shoppers are busier than ever and this behaviour is driving the growth in food to go, but shoppers are at the same time being more demanding and won’t settle for unappetising food, and neither will Sibylla who have a long tradition and huge experience and provides fast food as it should taste”. Sibylla offers a range of products wider than just hot dogs that can be tailored to specific markets, in the UK in addition to the hot dogs, there is a range of tortilla wraps and French fries. Sibylla ’Shop in shop’ is fully supported by ongoing training and promotional activity.
Sibylla have been working closely with a number of key retailers over the past year to carry out small trials across the UK, in a variety of stores including convenience, forecourt and Polish stores. The trial has helped us to develop a new smaller counter top solution ideal for a variety of UK stores, and easily expandable into larger units as retailer’s requirements grow. The range of concept modules starts from a 60cm wide counter top or free standing module all the way up to a 210cm fully integrated module, with the free standing modules including integrated refrigeration and bread warmers.
